Hailing from Virginia, Griff’s love for the world of microbiology began during his tenure at Colorado State University. Intent on becoming a veterinarian, his pursuits led him through several research labs studying a broad array of areas including infectious diseases, antimicrobials, invasive weeds, and statistics. He ultimately decided to focus his efforts on the far more noble vocation of kombucha brewing. After relocating to Bozeman, his casual search for a starter culture turned into time spent developing the nascent brewery’s lab environment and quality control practices. Griff picked up the mantle of brewery operations and never looked back. His days are now spent helping launch innovative products and guiding brand strategy for Zesty Beverages. Outside of Zesty, he is a passionate musician and dog lover.

Henri joined the team in 2018 to lend his expertise in economics and investing. He has helped the company increase production efficiency through adoption and implementation of LEAN manufacturing principles. Henri currently serves as CFO and controller with a focus on strategic decision making and the financial aspects of the business.

James is often who you’ll first run into when you visit the brewery, and everyone is greeted with the same big smile. James is the MVP of the brewery and his dedication, work ethic, and creative thinking has taken Zesty to new levels of efficiency and production levels.

Joining the team in early-2022, Philip came on to bring a fresh perspective on the Zesty brand and take our media to the next level. After growing up in on a farm in rural Montana, he decided to give the big city a try and immersed himself into the Bozeman community. From hunting and skiing to being actively involved in church outreach programs, Philip has a deep desire for fostering connections with people and hopes to expand this community-oriented approach to Zesty’s brand.
